Try checking the hidden bit under your program settings (Palm-rez post
linker).

Simply set the type to something other than appl.  I don't know how
you plan on launching it, but you can always sysappuiswitch to it.

(My PNG/GIF viewer and MIDI file player only work from ZBoxZ since it
uses that to select the file.  I have used the above technique to hide
those icons, though not currently).
