Don't forget the Visor and the m100! You should always do a unit hardware
detection routine before you fool with the flash.

I'd imagine that if the owner of the unit decided to reflash their unit
with the newest update of the OS, you'd have to have a customized .rom
anyway with your app in it if you want it to persist. You'd have to
customize the update .rom, then distribute that to your clients, if they
want to keep their software in the flash.

Nope, and too many people fool with it already, and don't understand
how limited the space is, after the PIMs and OS. Doing things like
backing up a database into the flash is great on units dedicated for
one particular task, but backing up someone's high scores from their
favorite Palm game is a bad idea, IMHO.
