You're half right. When your app is actually stopped you WILL see an
appStopEvent.

However the app launcher in PalmOS 2.0 is a popup form rather than a
seperate application unto itself.

This means if you enter your application then hit the 'app' button, you
will see the PalmOS app launcher BUT your app will NOT see an
appStopEvent UNTIL you select a different application. This is because
your app is still running in the 'background' (behind the launcher
screen) and will exit when you actually go to a different app.

So if you enter your app, hit the 'app' button and then select YOUR app
again, you will NOT see an appStopEvent...but will simply re-enter your
already running app.

Is that clear? (sorry if it's not)

Subject: OS version 2.0 question

I understand that in Palm OS 2.0 that there is no appStopEvent when the
applications button is tapped. My question is what event should I key
in to
stop the application then when this button is tapped?

Thanks,
Jason
