Hi All,

Sorry for sending this again, there was an error in the subject,

I have the following problem, i am developing an application that make haeavy use of
dynamic memory. I test the program
performance with fixed input data, and found out that the time it takes increases
gradually.

say it takes, 20 time ticks in first run,
it takes 22 time ticks, in second run, ...

till it takes 180 time ticks in 70 run.

when i switch to another application, and return to my application the time returns to
its 20 time ticks start.

I think the problem has something to do with memory fragmentation, or the use of
Palm OS float library. however, if the problem
is memory fragmentation, then why the increase in time doesn't stop? and why the
system return to its normal behaviour when I quit
my application and return back to it. Can I duplicate what
the system does, to get the performance back?

I think that understanding what is happening is the first step to solving the problem,
so I appreciate any suggestions or
explanations to what is happening.

Thanks in advance.

Mahmoud
