The UIAppShell is the root application that launches all other applications --
including the...um...Application Launcher. That is, when you tap on an
application in the Launcher, the Launcher calls SysUIAppSwitch to run it.
Launcher then quits back to the application that launched *it*, namely
UIAppShell. UIAppShell then takes care of launching the application specified
in the call to SysUIAppSwitch.
