Grr... once they learn how to use a cvs properly.

They do not allow branches, merging of branches, deletion of
files, or even deletion of *PROJECTS*. I spoke with them real-time on irc,
and they mentioned that they like to mark projects as "Unmaintained" even
when the author (like myself) deliberately decides to move them from
Sourceforge, legitimately. They said they want to enable others to pick up
the "dead" project. If I am the author, and decide to move my project,
they refuse to delete the old repository, even at my request. That to me
sounds just a bit fishy...

Right now, I've nearly pulled every project from there, but the
old dead source code still lives there, because they refuse to clean the
orphaned projects out. Probably some sort of PR ploy. "Gee, look how many
projects we house... now give us another 50 servers..."

In any case, I'm reviving the Open Palm Group, and have begun
moving most of the open source palm-related projects over to my server at
gnu-designs.com. Email me directly for more details, or if you want to
have your project housed there. Much more development-centric, and allows
for all of the things which cvs was designed to handle (tags, branches,
merging, deletion, etc.)
