I have Metrowerks Code Warrior that comes with the source for most of the
Palm built-in apps.
If I wanted to write an application that would interface with the Address
Book, for instance, and give my customer the ability to edit address
records, what are the copyright issues regarding using code and screens
directly out of the Address Book code.
It makes sense for my application to make the screen look exactly like what
the user is used to with Address Book, but it doesn't make sense to recreate
code and screens that end up looking exactly like the original anyway.
Do I put a copyright notice in my 'about application' menu mentioning that a
portion of this code came from Palm, or are there better options?
Thanks for your help.
Greg
