I've just added a new program to a dev version of ZBoxZ (I'm redoing CVS, so it's not there yet). It may be of interest to developers even in its current state. http://palmboxer.sourceforge.net/zbz023.zip (630K source + binaries). GPL. CapBMP is a Hack that will capture the current screen when the Calc silkscreen button is tapped. The capture is to a BMP file in a ZBoxZ database, so you can unbox it or let the conduit do it for you on the desktop. (You need the conduit, but ZBoxZ will let you see the files by name - basically palm time in seconds - and a capture BMP viewer is planned). Yes, a standard BMP file you can use in most paint or image viewers, which just needs to be "unboxed", but the conduit will do that automatically in Windows, and I have unbox programs for other platforms. It supports all screen modes, but probably needs OS 3.1 since it uses palmos screen calls, i.e. it won't work on a Visor if it is doing 4bpp, or if games are hacking the hardware registers (GPL, so supporting that is left as an exercise for the writer). It does color BMPs with palettes on a IIIc (or POSE where I tested the emulation), and greyscale, and does 4bpp BMP files for the 2bpp mode (bloats, but works - now I can capture my WCA screens on OmniSky live). -- For information on using the Palm Developer Forums, or to unsubscribe, please see http://www.palmos.com/dev/tech/support/forums/
