I know that the non-US developers sometimes feel they are at
a disadvantage from US developers. But the PalmSource 2000
pricing scheme should put that to rest once and for all!

Now as a Brit living in Georgia, can I get the $695 price?
And why would (say) a Canadian or Mexican developer, who may
be closer to California, get a substantial discount over one from the
East Coast of the USA. Vancouver, BC is closer to California than
Marietta, GA.
(by the way, I'm entirely supportive for a premium price for
California residents (sic))
