You should really take a step back and not embark on such an ambitious
project until you no longer consider yourself a "complete beginner". I
suggest getting a book like "Palm Programming: The Developer's Guide" (or
online at:
http://www.palmos.com/dev/tech/docs/devguide/TableOfContents.htm
Work through the examples, get familiar with stuff. Write test programs
that do nothing but help you practice your skills.
Then, move on to ambitious projects like this.
