  heck.. maybe it is about time the europeans got some special treatment!

  they still dont even have the international "discounts" for developers
  available for us yet.. so.. this price drop seems a good idea, however,
  it probably shouldn't apply to people in the northern american
  continent - as someone pointed out earlier.

  my ticket to USA will cost just as much as it does to get in..
  so.. there is no real "saving" of money going on either way..
  in the long run, european developers will still pay more :)
