Nodnodnod, was actually going to put a little parenthetical note in the
previous bit about lacking support for the IIIc. Rhinoskin makes one of
their overkill cases for the IIIc (have you seen those? Your Pilot can now
survive a fall that would kill you..) Everyone else seems to have forgotten
about them. Am not sure what the design constraints were, but somewhere
between the color screen and the internal batteries, they picked up just
enough extra length to blow them out of consideration for most of the
goodies that rely on form factor.
Right now I have a IIIc (mine) and a Vx with a Novatel (work's) and I
avoid using the Vx for anything that doesn't require the wireless. There's
no comparing them, imho.

A word about the Novatel Minstrel, though... even though the new III does
support all of the III form factors, it does NOT support the IIIc. This is a
real bummer for a client of mine who is looking at a wireless web
application for sales people.. one that requires color.. I'm going to have
to tell them to go with CE..
Does anyone else with a IIIc feel like it has become some sort of forgotten
stepchild or black sheep of the Palm family? I know that Palm just lowered
the price, but the developer community seems like they are still turning up
their noses at it.. as if a color machine couldn't POSSIBLY have a practical
application.
