This is just of the top of my pre-coffee infused brain.
Perhaps, using TblSetItemStyle(), to dynamically switch the style of the
table cells, TblSetRowHeight() and TblSetColumnWidth() calls to
dynamically resize the cells and custom table load and save functions
for field components. This would be of course get extremely hairy.
Scrolling (in this case) is accomplished by completely re-initialising
the table, completely reloading it, and completely redrawing it.
Just to satisfy my curiosity, why do you need to keep changing resources
in tables?
