Be prepared for a nightmare. Firstly you have to join the HDK developer
group. This gives you access to the vendors list. When you join this group,
Palm should place you on a developers list. Until you are on this list, the
vendors wont sell anything to you (it took palm 3 months to do this). Also
it is not just one vendor but 3/4. The PCB connector comes from a company in
the USA, the metal parts come froma comapny in Korea, and the case comes
from another company in Mexico and the USA, but you have to order parts
seperatly from them, therefore giving you effectivily four companies to deal
with. (by the way the minimum order quantity for the plastic parts is 500).
It has taken me over four months from wanting to get some cases to actually
receiving any (Im still waiting for some plastic parts).
