AFAIK the de facto standard is application/x-pilot. This is used for all
Palm databases: prcs, pdbs, pqas, overlays, etc. We have submitted a request
for application/vnd.palm to be used the same way. This type could spawn
subtypes if that becomes necessary. Note that this request hasn't been
approved yet!
