When I work with Metrowerks to iron out problems in the interaction between Poser and their debugger, I make heavy use of the debugger-related logging options in the Logging Options dialog box. Remember that for performance reasons Poser doesn't write logging information to an external file until it needs to, so you generally have to quit Poser after an aborted connection attempt to find out what went on.
