I am using the Datebook target ( I think this is the

It is one of the debug targets -- you can tell that it is because there are
little dots in the "Debug Information" column (last one in the project
window) next to all the source files.

It appears this target exceeds the 64K per segment limit (71160 bytes in the
segment). The regular non-German target has only 11680 bytes, so it doesn't
have the same issues running on the device. If you'd like, you could use
this example to practice converting a single-segment project into a
multi-segment project.
