Dr. Dobbs had an article awhile back that had a 'Battleship' example and a
simple diagnostic. Both were naughty in the sense that they did broadcast
valid IrDA device information - but both worked and would get you started.

i'm trying to find some sample source or examples on working with the ir
(opening, sending, recving, closing). i can find tye refnum, but cant
bind. i think the steps are find refnum, then bind, then send in and out
