I have an app that needs to do some work in response to a sysAppLaunchCmdSyncNotify launch code. Part of this work involves reading and writing to a database. The database in question already exists on the device and its backup attribute is set to false. Whenever I make a change to this database, Hotsync complains. The message displayed by POSE is: "HotSync" 3.5 tried to call a function in a shared library using a reference number of 4297. This reference number does not correspond to any currently installed library and is invalid. This problem indicates an error in the application. If this is the latest version of "HotSync", please report this to the application author. In a perfect world, changes to this database should be invisible to HotSync. Any suggestions? I am using CodeWarrior R6, OS 3.5 ROM, and POSE 3.06a.
