The only thing I can suggest is to choose very rigorous and careful
standards and follow them. Many people forget how difficult it can be to
trace bugs in embedded systems. Your total productivity will be much higher
if you code very carefully from day one. This is particularly true for
lock/unlock control.
You also need more careful control of stack and heap usage than on other
systems because these resources are extremely scarce on the Pilot.
