hi! I apologize, if this is wrong list; I appreciate pointers to correct address then. A while back I reported possible bug in glue library supplied with SDK3.5. Now I can confirm the bug; it exists only in GCC version of library. Some routines in this library (I've tested TxtGlueTransliterate, TxtGlueLowerStr, TxtGlueUpperStr; htere may be others) support only Latin encoding. Better said, they do not seem to access Text Manager; they behave, as if Text Manager did not exist. I've tested this on PalmOS3.3 with PaPiRus (Russian localisation package), CW lite 6.0 and PRC tools 2.0, latest SDK 3.5 (with update). The same program compiled with CW runs correctly and compiled with GCC exibits error. I am using Cygwin 1.1.4 if it matters. Source code is available on request (you do not need to know russian; the diference between upper/lower letters in obvious enough :-). Please, consider it a bug report. Else, could you please give me a pointer to where I can forward official bug report. As I understand, SDK is released by Palm directly? And not by PRC tools maintainers? best regards -andrej Have a nice DOS!
