The easiest way to deal with this is to simply put support in your
application for one of the currently available IR Printing utilities for
Palm. There are several fairly popular ones, you should be able to find
most of them at www.palmgear.com.
There is generally no fee to support printing via these utilities from your
app, but it does require that your users each purchase a legal copy.
An alternative would be to create your own IrLPT implementation on top of
the IrDA library on the Palm. (Note, some printers require a more
sophisticated IrDA protocol.) IrLPT itself is not that complicated,
especially considering what IrDA stack components are already implemented on
the Palm. However, a printer description language like PCL or Postscript is
potentially _very_ complicated. So be forewarned. If you go this route a
good place to start is www.irda.org.
