Found the problem. In the project settings, "Code Generation", "68K
Processor" panel I had an invalid combination of options selected for the
"Smart" or "Large" code model settings. Of course Code Warrior still
allowed me to attempt this. I simply selected the "Factory Settings" button
then "Smart" code model and everything worked fine.
