Yesterday was the first day I was able to connect to the NNTP
server -- other folks using newsreader access may have had
the same problem. That would keep volume down.
Although ... Palm apparently noticed the decrease in volume
and tried to make up for it by duplicating some messages that
made it in anywhere from 3 to 9 times or so ;-)
