Yeah, I apologise for that.  I found your message further down and
realised that I'd been guilty of posting without checking.  My excuse is
that I'd just finished reading an article that described the way that all
of the Palm string calls generate NULL-terminated strings and I recall
noticing that this differed from the standard C library.  Of course
after twenty minutes of searching I can't find it again.
Maybe I dreamt it.
