>From playing around with a couple projects, this is what I've observed:

Doesn't have its own build tool. Relies on another environment's tools
(like Visual C 6.0, Borland 4.5, pre 6.0 versions of VC, and eMbedded VC
3.0)

No Codewarrior support, but they do have GCC and PRC-Tools support.

The interface is similiar to VCC, but quite a bit more primitive and pared
down (A demo issue? Is it missing functionality?).

MobileBuilder seems to support scanning well, and apparantly works with
all the Symbol line, including the Symbol Palm terminals (obviously), the
DOS terminals, and the Windows CE/PPC terminals. (As far as I've seen)

It looks like there's a way to import more UI controls, and that's a good
thing, because this thing comes fairly limited in its number UI objects
(I wonder if the full version has more? There are some custom-looking
buttons in the docs...).

Has a good number of API calls, however, you still have to know what they
do, so it only saves a little typing.

The CodeAssistant looks pretty easy to use and intuitive, and looks like
a good tool for the newbies (but definately a "training wheel").

The demo limits your development to two forms.

There appears to be a way to register conduits through the interface,
and you can specify Win32 apps (but there doesn't seem to be anything
indicating conduits...probably could write them from scratch, though).

The source is apparantly just C code, with a few of their own
"MobileBuilder APIs"

Looks like it's about a version away from being really useful. It'd be
nice to be able to port code around easily from platform to platform,
and it looks like the goals of this environment are to do just that, as
well as provide rapid development of apps from platform to platform.

Hope that helps somebody out.
