I wander if there's any enhanced power consumption or processor slowdown
or .. anything else that would discourage me setting screen 'depth' 2 (or
more) as *default* on non-colour devices (PalmIII, V etc.). I've
implemented that graylevel story recently and it has dissapointed me that
much (at least on ol' Palm III screen) that I would need to find a good
reason to keep it as default screen mode (or to set it as optional
otherwise). So, I'd like to know how much does it cost...
