I created my initial pass at a conduit with EHand 1.0. I ran into some
problems. At first, I received quick response to my e-mails but then no
response at all after my third e-mail. The problem I was having was never
addressed so I switched the way I was doing things. Overall, I don't have a
favorable impression of their support.

When EHand 1.1 came out, I investigated them again and found out they had
changed their licensing policy to a royalty based model. With 1.0, they used
to charge only for shipping to Enterprises. Now it's for any commercial
product. I found $890 + $20 for each conduit sold a bit much.

That's why I wrote my conduit based on the generic conduit classes.
