The KVM on a Handspring Prism/Platinum are not bad @ all and run much quicker with the 
new chip.  Im sure that when Palm runs their
new chips thing will speed up the KVM to where it can fully be used for anything 
(including irda + bluetooth object exchange).

Jini in my opinion is way to bloated and XML on the client (whether using KVM or Palm 
C) is the way to go.
