I went back to look for the press release.. it was not listed on their 2000
Press Releases, but I found the original URL in my bookmarks. This is what I
found:

In a nutshell it says they cancelled plans to make it due to lack of demand
and are not planning to do it in the future. Its too bad, because I have a
client that needs a color wireless solution (for salesmen to show color
pictures) and now I will have no choice but to go to a PocketPC or a
Handspring Prism solution.
