It has been my experience that you can't beam prc's and pdb's as one
package. The exchange manager is the correct place to look. The
documentation has examples of how to beam pdb files. Someone on this list,
at one time, suggested a way to package everything into a single
database(pdb) and beam that. But then you would have to know how to
"unpackage" the database on the receiving device. That's an idea.

Subject: Beaming an application

I have an application that consists of a primary .prc (database type
'appl'), along with supporting .prc (database type 'hide') and .pdb files
(database type 'data') - all databases use the same registered creator id.
When a user attempts to beam the application to another device, only the
primary .prc file is transferred. I've searched the docs, but I haven't
been able to find any details on the beaming process (other than the
Exchange Manager reference).

Can anyone provide any pointers as to what is required in order to get all
of the files to transfer?

Thanks in advance,
Jeff
