handles and memhandlelock

Hi

I need some basic info about handles.  What is the Handle #defined to
be...in other
words what data type is Handle?  Is it a pointer to a pointer?  That's
what it
seems like...but I might be wrong.

Also, whenever I try to lock the handle using MemHandleLock I get a bus
error in
Pose.  Anyone lend a hand?
