Only if it is interrupted - charged batteries and a clean windows
system without apps that might crash windows help.
Even if it is, you can likely recover it by resetting and holding the
page down button (which shoudl display a flashing square in the UL
corner), then just use the Advanced section of the wizard (which
explains this technique).

The above is FALSE. It is possible to damage it, but not easily, nor
with the upgrade utility.

I've reflashed 20-30 times or more. No problems, but I think I had
one failure that I had to redo as noted above.
