I've been using Alladin DropZip, which runs on Windows and can create a .zip
or a .sit file. You can download a 30 day trial at
http://www.aladdinsys.com/dropzip/winindex.html . It's $20 if you want to
keep it. The only caveat: to create a .zip file, you drag files onto the
DropZip window, but to create a .sit file, you select Zip, then Stuff from
the menu, then select the files to be included.
