Well, you need to pick a development tool. Codewarrior is pretty easy
to learn, albeit a bit frustrating at times...GCC is free, and with the
IDE at www.falch.net, is every bit as powerful and friendly as Codewarrior.
PRC-Tools is what you'd use for GCC, if that's the route you want to take.
Codewarrior is really great on the Mac, and fairly adequate on the PC.
If you don't want either tool, then you need to purchase one of the many
third party utilities. They usually have the SDK bundled with them.
Codewarrior also has the SDK bundled. They have a free downloadable
"Lite" trial version, if you want to get going ASAP. You could order
a copy of the full version, and work on learning the SDK in the meantime...
or you could just use GCC and get up and going as soon as you download
it. Many of the third party development environments also have trial
versions.
