It is possible to install "hacks" which are resident programs that intercept
systems calls and change their behavior. These applications don't run in
the background, instead they interrupt the main application. For more
information on hacks, look at the documentation for Hackmaster at
http://www.daggerware.com/. There are quite a few hacks available which
modify the behavior of grafitti, but they don't do it through true
multitasking.
