Firstly, it's illegal for anyone to send you a ROM image (it's
either a breach of copyright or a breach of the licence
agreement under which the ROM image was obtained).
Secondly, if I'd got access to the ROM images in two weeks
I'd have been a happy developer. The manager who filled
out our application missed an item and Palm responded with
"Not good enough, please repeat". I asked a question regarding
the item and was completely ignored. Six months later I
decided that we were going to need the debug ROMs eventually
and so made another attempt. This one only took four
weeks end to end.
So be *very* careful when filling out the signed agreements.
This is one area where Palm really need to get their head
out of the sand.
