There are several good references available to start off with. Palm
Programming - The Developer's Guide by Rhodes & McKeehan; O'Reilly - seems
to be a universal starting point. Palm Programming by Glenn Bachmann;
Sams - is a good reference. Both of these are available from places like
www.fatbrain.com.
CodeWarrior comes with some good tutorials and example programs.
Examples of the kind of things that you are talking about are included
in most of these.
You will also need a good C/C++ reference. There are available from
many different sources.
