are you accessing them through a bitmap family?
and are you calling WinScreenMode(winScreenModeSet, NULL, NULL,&newDepth,
NULL) ??

Subject: Still having trouble with Color Bitmaps
I've tried everything that was suggested, and the bitmaps that I create (in
color) come out in black and white.
I downloaded and installed the sdk 3.5, as well as "Update1" to no avail.
I'd appreciate any other suggestions.
