Current Date and Time?

Hi

I was wondering if there is an API to get the current date
and time.  I'm sure there has to be one, but the only thing
I saw in the ref doc was the Date and Time selector, which
from the documentation, isn't what I want.  I'm looking for
something like GetDate() that will just return a data struct
with the current date.  Anything like that available?
