No. What's wrong with sysAppLaunchCmdSyncNotify? I'm guessing that you want
to beam a pre-existing app to another device in such a way that the
receiving device runs the received app. You could do this by wrapping the
pre-existing app in your own app. This has been discussed before - I think
it was on comm-dev-forum. If, on the other hand, the app being beamed is
your own app, then there's no reason not to handle the
sysAppLaunchCmdSyncNotify launch code.
