Hi Christopher, You can find out whether palm desktop is installed by querying the registry.The palm Desktop info is stored in: HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\U.S. Robotics\Pilot Desktop\Core . Extract the "Path" key it stores the Location of installation of Palm Desktop. You can also find out the Path to Hotsync and other apps there. I hope this helps.
