Hello Palmers,
Forgive the dumb question, but I inherited this Palm code and never
installed the software before. Now I have to reload the Codewarrior IDE
after a computer rebuild. Is there a How-To somewhere on installing the
IDE to get the latest and greatest IDE and SDK files? I have the Release 6
CodeWarrior CD, plus I found and downloaded the 3.5 SDK release files.
Now what is the upgrade procedure from here? I know the sdk35-cw.zip file
goes through it's own installation, but I also remember the original
programmer having a terrible time getting all the files straightened out.
Do I really have to drag-n-drop files from the examples, tools, docs, and
update 1 zip files, or is there an easier way? And does the release 6
install CD not install the resource editor automatically? I couldn't edit
resources until I manually associated the .rsrc files with the resource
editor .exe
