The "delete one, delete all" behavior is probably due to some
sort of mishandling of the idea that when you delete the appl with
a given creator id, all other databases that share the same creator
id are also deleted.
My guess is that you don't have Aportis Doc installed, so there is no
appl w/ that creator id. Thus all the docs show up as free-standing
databases in the applications list. Now there is a question here:
are these doc files marked as "executable" databases? I don't
remember how new that concept is. Perhaps if the one you delete
is marked as an executable database, then when you delete it the
system behaves as if you deleted an appl (the original executable
type).
Generally, program-data databases should be managed within
the program, not from the applications screen. Most doc readers
have an option to delete a doc file built-in.

Perhaps. Or perhaps it relies upon the "executable database" property.
It would be interesting to test this out.
