Currency Symbol(s)

There doesn't seem to be a API way to get the currency symbol
from the Palm OS  (I need something that works back to OS 3.0)

That's really an important aspect to localization!  Displaying 
the UKPound symbol for UK, the D for Germany (or the Euro symbol
if necessary) and the L for Italy, etc, etc.

Am I missing something obvious?
