Hi Folks,
I just recently decided to pursue PalmOS development to help
a friend who owns her own business selling Symbol 1500 and
1700 barcode scanner units. I'm a veteran Visual Basic developer
so Satellite forms seemed a good fit for me. I'm having a little
difficulty adusting though ;)
A simple example:
I have a button control that I want to be able to click on to
scroll through records from the database. Each time the button
is clicked I want to show the contents of a few fields on the screen.
If I set the "action when clicked" to Goto Next Record, when I
reach the end it asks me if I want to create a new record. I don't
want that displayed. I just want it to stop and not respond when
pressed. I tried a script instead that did a tables().MoveNext but
that doesn't update the fields on the screen. How can I get what
I want?? ;)
I'm pretty excited about PalmOS development. This could be
COOL!
