Consider the second law of thermodynamics: entropy is increasing everywhere
at all times. To create something worthwhile you have to create order out
of chaos, thus reversing the natural trend for everything to fall apart.
Cracking is more like tearing things apart than it is like creating order
out of chaos. Thus cracking is easier than creating. No matter how
intelligent crackers may think they are, they really aren't demonstrating
intelligence by cracking. Intelligence is the ability to see (or to create)
order out of disorder.

Of course it can be made easier: use more programmer intelligence, use more
intelligent tools, etc.
