Hi
We are looking at getting a hand held devices, one with an antenna. Not
sure which one. Our goal is to use the antenna to connect to our LAN . Can
the antenna be used to connect to our LAN via ethernet? We do not want to
surf the net in a global sense. This would be for use on while on site. I
have seen ethernet cradles, but would like to connect to the Lan via the
antenna.
Can someone tell me what hardware is needed to accomplish this or some info
on companies that handle this. We want to role our own software, we just
need the ability to connect wirelessly to our LAN, from there our
applications people will develop the software.
