I personally think it is easier to create an empty project and set the
settings to create a Palm project. To do this, choose File-New, and
select Empty Project. The target will automatically be created with the
project name you specified. Now go to Edit-{Target} Settings to set the
following:
Target Settings: Linker -- MacOS 68K Linker; Post-linker -- PalmRez Post
Linker
Access Paths: Choose the System Paths radio button, and change the
{Compiler} path to choose whichever Palm SDK you want (Palm VII, PalmOS
3.1, PalmOS 3.5, PalmOS 4.0).
68K Target: Project Type -- PalmOS Application; File Name -- {target}.tmp
68K Processor: Floating Point -- PalmOS
PalmRez Post Linker: Mac Resource Files -- {target}.tmp (must match the
File Name in the 68K Target panel); Output File -- {target}.prc
Now you're ready to add library, source, and resource files to the
project. I have also put in a feature request for the name of a new
project to be automatically substituted throughout the settings panels.
