In 4.0, text in an alert gets the line breaks formatted slightly differently
than in 3.5 and earlier. Its line break width is slightly narrower, so some
alerts end up being an extra line taller. This can mess up tall alerts
whose text just barely fit on screen in earlier versions.
For example, I have one tall alert with the line "viewing private records."
In 3.5 it fits on one line. But in 4.0 it breaks "records" onto a separate
line. This makes the bottom line of text disappear because the text in 3.5
is the maximum alert height of 10 lines.
